Accurate local information matters. A correction should help readers understand what changed and why.

What to include in a correction request
Provide the article URL, the exact statement in question, the proposed correction and a supporting source when available. For business prices or schedules, include the specific location and the date of the information. Share only information relevant to the issue; do not send account passwords, government identifiers, medical records or private details about children.
How corrections should be handled
Check the claim against the original evidence and newer reliable records. Correct substantive errors and place a dated correction note on the article explaining the material change. Preserve the original publication date. Minor spelling, formatting or broken-link fixes may be made without a separate note if they do not change the meaning.
A disagreement with a conclusion does not automatically establish a factual error. Where evidence remains uncertain or sources conflict, the article should say so. A story that cannot be supported may be withdrawn with an explanation when appropriate.
Updates and urgent information
Routine changes to prices, hours or future plans are updates rather than proof that the earlier report was wrong. Consult the linked official source before acting on time-sensitive information. This website is not an emergency service and does not provide emergency response.
