Little Elm’s Sunday Witches Paddle: booking options, parking and time conflicts

On this page

Little Elm’s Witches Paddle pairs costumes with a guided lake outing on Sunday, October 18, 2026, starting at 4:30 p.m. DFW Surf and the municipal tourism calendar both identify Little Elm Beach at 100 Bridgeview Drive. Before booking, compare the actual equipment options: the checkout menu offers more choices than the operator’s general $45-per-paddler description.

The date and time to use

The Lakefront Little Elm event listing gives October 18 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The operator’s Witches Paddle page also identifies Sunday, October 18 at 4:30 p.m.

We opened the operator-linked FareHarbor calendar, selected October 18, 2026, and found the 4:30 p.m. departure. Its booking heading says 4:30–6 p.m., while the town calendar runs through 6:30. The general booking description also contains a stray October 17 date and a 4 p.m. subtitle. The selected dated departure agrees with the city and operator on Sunday at 4:30, but confirm the finish time and any early check-in requirement with the operator.

The operator separately advertises Grapevine’s outing for October 25. That is a different location and date. Use the Little Elm booking link for this trip, y’all.

What the booking menu actually lists

The following U.S.-dollar options appeared for the selected October 18 departure when checked October 16, 2026. Taxes, compulsory booking fees and a final payment total were not verified. These are listed option prices rather than guaranteed all-in quotes.

Qualifying membership, reservation requirements and any remaining charges

The operator’s general event page says $45 per paddler, but the selected departure’s equipment menu is more specific. Do not assume every two-person arrangement costs $90, or that the cheapest menu option includes a rented board.

As an entry-level comparison, two separate $45 rentals equal $90 before any unverified fees. A $65 tandem option could change that calculation only after the operator confirms it covers your two eligible participants. We did not select paid items, enter personal details or complete a reservation.

Gear, guidance and parking

The operator advertises a paddle introduction, guided outing, equipment and safety gear, plus costume activities, music and “Witches Brew.” Its booking description specifically says parking is included. Confirm the parking/check-in instructions attached to your reservation rather than adding the ordinary beach parking price automatically.

The operator’s general Little Elm page lists a $10 vehicle parking fee, while the municipal beach page describes a summer parking season ending September 7, 2026. Neither establishes an extra October 18 event-parking charge. The event-specific inclusion is the useful starting point; check whether it applies to the option you buy and any additional vehicle.

The drink’s alcohol content and any beverage age restrictions were not established. Do not treat the name as a promise of an alcoholic drink or a child-specific refreshment. Ask the operator about ingredients and age rules if that affects your group.

Swimming ability and child eligibility come first

The operator says basic swimming skills are required and a waiver must be signed. Its general rental information requires parent or guardian approval for minors, but that is not a confirmed age policy for this particular event. Check the child’s age, ability and selected craft with DFW Surf before paying.

The general page describes life-jacket requirements and different equipment rules for kayaks and paddleboards. Use the staff’s event-specific briefing and properly fitted gear. A witch costume should not prevent a personal flotation device from fitting or trail loose fabric into the water.

If you need help transferring into a craft, a particular seating position or another accommodation, ask about that before booking. We did not verify accessible boarding arrangements, and a guided group format does not establish that every craft suits every participant.

Check weather, cancellation terms and availability

The event page says weather and lake conditions can change the plan and that registered guests will be contacted about changes. A current cancellation/refund deadline was not verified. Read the specific booking terms before paying rather than assuming that rain, a late arrival or a change of plans guarantees a refund.

The date picker displayed the Sunday departure during our October 16 check. That does not guarantee a place remains when you read this. Avoid arriving without a confirmed reservation, and reopen the operator’s current notice before leaving home.

Make it a Little Elm outing that fits your group

The town’s event description puts the guided paddle first and costume activities afterward, with music and a contest. Because the city and booking pages differ on the end time, keep your return plans flexible until the operator confirms the schedule. Bring a way to secure belongings and ask what can safely go on the craft.

For a dry-land alternative, use our Little Elm kids guide. Our weekend page collects other verified outings, and the Little Elm and Aubrey Halloween guide covers later October events. Those are separate outings with their own prices and eligibility.
