Early-voting and Election Day lists differ

Anna lists the Community Library for early voting. For Election Day, the city lists that library and the Anna ISD Administration Building, 151 Rosamond Parkway. Do not assume every Election Day location also offers early voting.

Collin County says its registered voters may use any of its designated vote centers during early voting and on Election Day. That means the county's complete list may offer another convenient option. A building's ordinary library or office hours do not establish its polling hours. Open the current election's location schedule before leaving, y'all. Bring the right identification

Texas lists seven acceptable photo IDs: a Texas driver license, Election Identification Certificate, personal identification card or handgun license; a U.S. military ID with a photograph; a U.S. citizenship certificate with a photograph; or a U.S. passport book or card.

Except for the citizenship certificate, voters ages 18–69 may use an otherwise acceptable photo ID expired no more than four years. For voters 70 or older, an otherwise valid acceptable photo ID may be expired for any length of time.

If you do not possess and cannot reasonably obtain an acceptable photo ID, the state describes a Reasonable Impediment Declaration plus a supporting document route. Its examples include a current utility bill or bank statement. Those conditions matter: this is not a blanket rule that any utility bill replaces photo ID for everyone. Read the state's complete instructions or ask the election office about your circumstances. Official Texas voter ID requirements

Recently moved? Ask about your actual registration

The county FAQ says someone who moved into Collin County but remains registered in another Texas county may qualify for a limited ballot, subject to eligibility. That procedure is available only during early voting at the main early-voting polling place, not on Election Day. Contact the registrar before choosing a neighborhood location; the county lists 972-547-1900 for details. A limited ballot covers only contests shared by the former and new county. Read the ballot and plan the trip separately

Anna's city page explains Proposition A, a proposed $60 million street-bond authorization. A proposed authorization is not an already approved expenditure. Read the linked ballot language and city materials before deciding; this guide takes no position on the measure.

Save the chosen location, date and verified hours together so another family member can follow the same plan. For the rest of your family's outing plans, our Anna kids guide lists local options. It does not identify polling places or provide child care.

Sources and update scope

City, county and state pages were checked October 15, 2026. This guide covers voting logistics, not candidate recommendations, a personalized eligibility ruling or every ballot contest. Daily early-voting hours were not independently confirmed here; use the county's current schedule. Recheck official notices before your trip, and consult the registrar when your record or ID situation is unclear.
